Since I can't see how the template gets used, I think I must still be missing something. If I have to set up all my own margins and tables with appropriate number of rows and columns before putting in the merge fields, then what purpose does the template serve? I am not asking sarcastically, but for info.

I'd still like to know how to print labels from Pages using Avery templates. All this printing has been done from Address Book using address lists. But if I then print a document using another format, and then later come back to choose the earlier one, the name is there, but the settings are whatever was last used and not the saved settings for that particular name.

I can set it and print a single document as I want, and,yes, I do save the preset. Regarding the presets, I experimented some more, but still the same problem.

If I use a Numbers spreadsheet to supply my single address data, how do I get a template for Pages to use? Do I have to build it from scratch, copying and pasting for 30 labels? And how do I tell pages to repeat the same address for all labels?
